Our Process

Book FREE Consultation

Meet with our team to discuss your loved one's situation and determine whether guardianship, conservatorship, or both are needed. We'll explain the process and help you understand what to expect.

File Court Petition

We'll prepare and file the appropriate petition with the Georgia probate court on your behalf. In adult guardianship cases, a physician must confirm within 10 days that your loved one is unable to make their own decisions. If a doctor is not available, two family members can serve as petitioners instead.

Court Evaluation

he court will conduct an evaluation of your loved one and may appoint an attorney to represent their interests. Once the evaluation is complete, a hearing date will be set.
